Loved this place! I am from MA and haven't found a lobster roll this good in the 15 yrs I have been here in FL. Service was great and made adjustments for the kids. Chowder was fabulous. My husband had the New England style lobster roll and I tried the Connecticut, both fantastic.

By way of introduction (and to
establish credentials) I have been in the hotel/restaurant business
operating high end resorts with multiple restaurants for 35 years. I
have read the mixed reviews
and am at a loss to understand where some of the reviewers are coming
from. Every resto can have a bad service. It is not uncommon. That said, a
restaurant should not be judged by only one meal.
Today, my wife and I had lunch at Chowder Heads. The service was prompt, courteous and efficient. The resto was clean and comfortable. We both ordered lobster rolls (cold) and I ordered the New England clam chowder. The taste of the chowder was spot on although I thought the texture was a little thin for my liking. I prefer a thicker version such as that found at Kelly's Landing or Legal. Again, the taste was perfect. The split top buns on the LR were buttered and well toasted. The star was the amazing lobster filling. Not too much mayo or other additions. One of the best lobster rolls I have ever had and that includes New England. We traveled from Boynton Beach to Jupiter and were not disappointed. We will be back.
Went for lunch and had a very
reasonably priced clam strip roll with bowl of lobster bisque (a lunch
special). Both were very good and the $10 price was a steal.
Their theme is to focus on fresh ingredients and simple, traditional New England style dishes. There was a lot on the menu that was way pricier. You could easily spend $20 for lunch if you treat yourself to the best. My first experience will bring me back to try more.
Went here on my travels south from Canada. Yummy. Will be back when in the area next. Can't wait to chat it up with the waitress again.

Let me just say, Wow! Food was absolutely amazing.
My wife had some crab fries. They were very crispy and warm. I ordered a two pound lobster and Jesus Christ, for It melted in my mouth. I hope to come back soon.
In conclusion, Go try Chowder Heads. You wont regret it!
We come here everytime we visit the grandparents in Florida. It's a tradition. The staff is always friendly and remembers who we are. Our home town (San Fran) has great dining. We are spoiled with awesome seafood options and yet we still look forward to Chowderheads every year. Their chowder is flavorful and authentic, lots of fresh clams. Outside dining oh yes. Their oyster options are tasty. We have had the lobster a few times and it was sweet, tender and delicious. This is one treat you will look forward to again and agian.
This is the best place to get Lobster...LOVED IT...I cant imagine why this place is only a 2 star...Just make NO sense at all
I ate at this restaurant when I was in town visiting family a few weeks ago, and I have to say that it was a great experience, so I'm not sure why it's rated 2.5 stars. The staff was courteous, and I thought the food was great. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.

The food was very good. Service can be a little slow when it is very crowded, but I just enjoy the conversation and another beer. No Worries Man, Chowder off the charts...Come Soon!!!!!!
|Review: Great service, nice atmosphere. Food is wonderful, we will be back. Thank you for explaining the menu and making this a great "impulse" lunch.||06/08/2013 2:31pm|
|Simply put, I had the best fried clams and clam chowder that I have ever had outside of Boston, and they were good enough to beat most places INSIDE of Boston! The clams were fresh, whole and lightly battered, fried to perfection. The chowder was absolutely delicious, classic in one sense yet with a subtle blend of interesting flavors that made it uniquely different from any others I have had.||06/08/2013 10:11am|

|Food was great! Heading to Maine in July so had to have a test run of the lobsta' rolls - perfection.
|This is a place where they do a few things, and do them extremely well. We have been here many times, and the food is always fantastic. If you can't go to New England for loster roll, then Chowder Heads is the place to be!|
Great food you have to try it
|As a native New Englander, I confess to be somewhat of a seafood snob. The food at Chowder Heads was amazing and the ambiance is super too. You can bet I will be back really soon!|
|great place, great atmosphere, friendly staff|
